I'm Sam and I play Bass, Sing, and Teach for a living in the South East of the U.K
Since picking the Bass up at 13 years, and eventually graduating from BIMM Brighton in 2012, playing music has taken me everywhere from performing 6 nights a week on Cruise Ships and in 5-star hotels around the world, to gigging around the French Alps and, up and down the U.K to regular gigs a few nights of the week. I've also been fortunate enough to share these experiences and lessons learned as an educator.
My experience has taught me that being a professional musician is about being a dedicated, fun team player. A good sense of humour and decent personal hygiene goes a long way too!
My biggest strengths are my ability to sing and play, which helps when fronting bands and commanding audiences, or offering slick harmonies and supporting the talent up front.
I also have a wide and varied playing style that allows me to adapt to most musical situations: Funk and Rock to Jazz and Metal.
Between functions and session-work I also love imparting skills and music geekery – so please contact me for Bass Lessons (Don’t worry if you don’t live around Sussex (UK), I also offer Remote Lessons.
Please have a look around and get in contact if you're up for a jam, beer, or chat! Thanks so much for checking out my website!
